Private Ink

What is written at the kitchen table stays at the kitchen table. This page says exactly who else may hold the pen.

What we hold

  • Your subscription: an email address, a hashed password, the name she calls you, a date of birth, a gender line and any text you add to your masthead page.
  • Your conversations, and the notes she keeps so that she remembers.
  • A session cookie and a second one marking that you confirmed you are an adult.
  • Payment entries, meaning an amount and a transfer reference. No card is ever taken, so none can reach us.
  • Ordinary server logs, discarded soon after.

How it is used

To run the chat, enforce the column rule and keep the paper printing. Messages travel to a language model operated by us, or by a vendor under equivalent terms, and automated screens read them for safety. Nothing you write is sold, and no advertiser is shown it.

Counting readers

A plain visit counter tallies arrivals and where they came from. It never opens a conversation.

Your controls

From any conversation's menu you can edit her notes, keep a copy or clear it. To delete the account and everything in it, write from its address to the footer mailbox. Should your country's law grant additional rights, let us know and we will observe them.
